This leading international firm is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager to join its expanding Public Sector division of the Corporate Tax team. The public sector team is at the heart of supporting Local Government, Higher Education, Further Education, Housing and Policing clients and is a real area of focus and growth for the firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic self starter looking to broaden their horizons and work as part of a dynamic team. The role involves a mix of tax advisory services, compliance management (where you will be the main client contact) and business development. You will be ACA and / or CTA qualified with three years experience in corporate tax (including dealing with groups). You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with clients and colleagues and to effectively manage and coach more junior staff. Although not essential, experience of working in the charity sector or with not for profits is highly desirable.
