The National Tax Office exists to support the tax business of the firm, providing the tools, intellectual property and technical support to grow the tax business and help our staff to interpret complex legislation, so they can deliver solutions in a way that the client understands.

The Executive plays a central role within the National Tax Office department here within Grant Thornton UK LLP.

Who we're looking for:

You'll know that what you do matters; as an organisation we want to be known for how we do business, not simply what we do. So, we need people who know that every act matters -from the simple things to the insights we bring to clients.

You'll seize opportunities. We want to adapt quickly and wisely to changing conditions to optimise growth for both our clients and ourselves.

You'll apply critical reasoning to bring clarity and insight. We do it by asking great questions, listening and drawing on our collective knowledge and experience to really help others grow.

Education, experience and qualifications:

•you'll be professionally qualified, CTA required
•you'll have a broad tax background
•you'll have technical knowledge, be a problem solver and critical thinker

We are proud to have become the first major firm of business advisers to launch an all employee consultation on a model for shared enterprise which will see all of our people have a say and a stake in the firm. We're embarking on an exciting journey towards shared ideas, shared responsibility and shared reward. As a member of the team, you'll play a fundamental part on that journey of thinking like an owner, and taking ownership to help deliver our ambitious vision.
