To work as part of a regional Employer Solutions team as an employment taxes specialist. Role is based in Manchester but the successful candidate will provide support to the wider region.
Principal Responsibilities
The role will include:
Dealing with all employment taxes matters arising on clients, to include P11D, PSA, termination payments, status, PAYE/NIC healthcheck reviews, disclosures, HMRC enquiries, CIS, etc.
Will also become involved in the design, implementation and compliance of salary sacrifice arrangement and advice in connection with the tax treatment of equity arrangements, so experience will be an advantage but not core provided that there is a willingness to learn and broaden experience.
Identifying BD opportunities on existing clients for progression with support.
Skills and attributes required
Likely to be ATT/CTA or ACA qualified, may have previously worked at HMRC
Will have 1-4 years relevant experience
Positive attitude, willingness to be flexible, able to work independently and as part of a team with strong communications skills
Be comfortable conversing with and reporting to senior people both at client and RSM
Client focused with an ability to meet deadlines and present a positive image of RSM
Identifying selling opportunities incidental to the stated duties
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a regional team
