A Tax Accountant job in Croydon paying c. £50,000 where you will manage the tax affairs of the UK group companies.

Your new company
This well known retail brand is a high-street favourite with global operations. As a result of a reshuffle within the finance team there is now a requirement to recruit a Tax Accountant.

Your new role
A crucial element of this role is working closely with colleagues from across the business on corporate tax and VAT compliance, planning and providing input on new business adventures. This includes the preparation of corporate tax and VAT returns, dealing with enquiries from HMRC, maintaining tax forecasts and responding to ad hoc queries from the business.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need to hold a relevant professional qualification (ACCA/ACA/CTA) and either already be working in industry or looking to make your first move from practice.
