With name brand recognition, this is one of the largest hotel groups in the world that is seeking to continue its expansion. The successful candidate will join the European operations with managerial responsibilities over VAT.

Description

Reporting to the European Director of Tax, the successful candidate will be responsible for a large range of areas including:

* Preparation of tax calculations, computations and submissions of VAT compliance subsidiary entities.
* Manage relationships with country Finance Directors and tax specialists to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance across European entity companies
* Support senior tax staff and Head Office as it relates to managing external tax advisors in regards to tax reporting and compliance obligations
* Appropriately document and analyze any documentation required for relief and recovery of VAT
* Ensure prompt and accurate reporting for tax deadlines for month, quarter and year end for both Head Office and Local Authorities
* Build, develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders
* Ad hoc duties as necessary

Profile

* Professionally qualified
* International VAT experience with German VAT experience particularly advantageous
* Proven ability to deliver results according to deadline in a timely and accurate manner
