Senior Manager International VAT - Geneva

Change Recruitment Group are working with a market leading Big 4 firm in Switzerland to assist them in the recruitment of a Senior Manager who is experienced in International VAT for their team in Geneva.

Geneva is the second most populous city in Switzerland after Zurich. Geneva is a global city, a financial centre, and worldwide centre of diplomacy due to the presence of numerous international organisations, including the headquarters of many of the agencies of the United Nations and the Red Cross. Geneva’s economy is mainly services oriented. The city has an important and old finance sector which is specialised in private banking (managing assets of about 1 trillion USD) and financial of international trade. Opportunity:

This Big 4 opportunity is in Geneva and they are looking for a Senior Manager who is experienced in International VAT. Responsibilities will include:
· You will provide international direct tax consulting services to Swiss and international clients
· You will develop tax client relationships, assist in winning work and manage the successful delivery of international indirect tax projects
· You will help the clients in strategy direction, value creation and in reviewing indirect tax structures
· You will participate in the development of the indirect tax practice
· You will develop your leadership skills in high performing teams with committed staff
· You will succeed on challenging and diverse assignments and projects by leveraging your know-how and experience

Requirements:
· You hold a bachelor or master’s degree in economics, business or tax law as well as a tax qualification e.g. CTA
· You have more than 10 years’ experience in VAT ideally gained from a Big 4 environment
· You speak fluent English and knowledge of French would be a plus
· You will share you expertise and experience actively by coaching or mentoring others
· You will expand the global business network and leverage your personal relationships
