The company
Our Client is a listed organisation based in London seeking an experienced UK Tax Manager to join the team on a 12 month contract basis. This is an exciting time to join the organisation as they go through a transitional period of change and growth.
The role
Reporting to the International Tax Director you will be responsible for all UK tax compliance and tax reporting.
* Preparing quarterly tax computations and ensure the timely delivery of information
* Managing the workflow of several foreign jurisdictions, liaising with local controllers about their input for the quarterly provision process
* Review quarterly tax provisions, accompanying work papers and memo's and provide feedback to local Tax Accountants
* Responsible for IFRS and US GAAP reporting
* Accurate and timely forecasting of the group tax rate
* Participate and lead projects to improve the Tax Accounting processes
About you
The ideal candidate will be an ACA and/or CTA qualified accountant with solid experience across US GAAP, Provisioning, Compliance and IFRS reporting. You will be an excellent communicator with an ability to build relationships across the group including local and international Tax Accountants/Controllers. You will be a motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously however when needed provide leadership and guidance to a junior tax accountant.
