Purpose of Role
The Trust Manager plays a central role within the Trust Tax department within Grant Thornton UK LLP. The successful candidate be responsible for managing a portfolio of diverse trust clients and deliver tax advisory services to trustees.
Main Responsibilities
• Builds a rapport with trustees and their other advisors and develops a clear and detailed understanding of the trust objectives and expectations
• Attends and presents at trustees' meetings and be responsible for review of trust accounts to the appropriate Partner for sign-off
• Review and delivery of tax returns
• Accurately interprets advice obtained from other specialists and questions where required and presents solutions to increasingly complex technical issues
Education and Qualifications
• CTA/ ACA/ ACCA
• STEP would be highly desirable
• Sound technical knowledge
• Post qualification experience
