This bank is a leader across in EMEA and the Asia Pacific and they are currently looking for a specialist to join their growing tax team. They currently have an opening in their operational tax department for a specialist in this area to join and provide oversight and hands on management of the tax team as it relates to a full range of operational taxes

Description

Operating within the insurance division the successful candidate will be required to manage the compliance and oversight of taxation affairs with a direct focus on assets and funds under management but with a broad range of responsibilities including:
* Manage tax planning and compliance to ensure satisfaction of statutory requirements of operational taxes including FATCA, USDOT, CRS, EUSD, withholding taxes and any other areas as required
* Manage and implement best practices in regards to reporting, documentation and workflow on an ongoing basis
* Monitor change in legislation and regulation to ensure team is minimizing risk and acting in accordance with the regulatory environment
* Engage with key stakeholders in other departments to ensure unified business process in reporting, planning and compliance
* Identify risks and problems in tax with a view to implement change on a rapid basis

Profile
Professionally qualified
Practical experience in operational or financial services taxes either in industry or in practice
Immediately Available
Willingness to further specialize in operational tax
Proven ability to liaise with different organizational departments and with key stakeholders
