French VAT Specialist

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented French VAT specialist to join a international firm

The role requires offers the individual the responsibility to lead a team of VAT professionals and ensure the deliver the seamless, exceptional client services associated with this firm on a pan- European basis. The majority of your client portfolio will be from francophone countries, thus to be considered for this role you MUST be fluent in French. In addition, a strong grasp of English is a necessity.

You will currently have 2-5 years VAT experience (with an exceptional understanding of the VAT compliance process and EU VAT regulations); practical experience with the French Tax authorities would be beneficial. Your skills set will include thorough technical knowledge and capability.
You will have the initiative and methodical approach required for dealing with the complex VAT compliance issues and will have previously demonstrated working independently as well as in a team, in order for objectives to be achieved and excellence delivered.
