About The Opportunity
A Manhattan-based service organization is actively seeking a driven Tax professional for a promising opportunity on their staff as a Senior Manager. In this role, the Senior Tax Manager will serve in a direct client management role and will help manage all aspects of the quality, timeliness and efficiency of client deliverables, including tax return preparation, tax planning and advisory services.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Tax Manager will:
Establish rapport with sophisticated clients
Research and interpret the Internal Revenue Code, various State Tax Codes, Federal Estate and Gift Tax Code, Private Letter Rulings, Revenue Rulings and Tax Court Cases
Provide analyses of financial, gift, estate, and income tax issues of high net worth individuals and families
Complex transactional planning and structuring
Oversee preparation of individual, partnership, foundation, fiduciary and gift tax returns for high net worth individuals and affiliated entities
Present findings for tax authorities
Respond quickly to demanding clients' various requests
Recruit, train, and develop tax staff; contribute technical discussions and administrative initiatives in tax department meetings
Participate in networking events and business development, as appropriate
REQUIRED SKILLS
10+ years of relevant experience in tax and/or family office environment
