Temporary Tax Senior, Skipton

Our client is of the Skipton Office a well regarded accountancy firm. They seek a tax senior on a temporary contract to cover a maternity leave. The key requirement is personal tax experience but mixed tax skills also considered. In this role you will carry out compliance work on a varied portfolio of clients, including business clients, company directors and private clients. This position is expected to last until 31st January 2016.
The position will involve the completion of tax returns and capital gains computations, liaising with clients and dealing with HMRC queries, etc. There will also be a requirement for the post holder to oversee the tax compliance work being undertaken by Business Services Accounts staff and provide tax compliance assistance where necessary.

It is envisaged that this post will be based predominately at our Skipton office however there may be a requirement for the post holder to provide on site support at other offices. This post is full time although part time may be considered.

The successful candidate should have relevant experience working within a professional practice in a tax position, will need to be commercially aware, numerate, computer literate and be able to communicate in a confident manner. Possession of the ATT qualification is desirable, although not essential. Would consider someone looking to return to tax after a career break.
