Belfast Tax Director, KPMG

Role

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Tax Director who will join our Belfast tax practice.

We are keen to hear from candidates who possess the following:

* Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent)

* Superb technical skills and detailed knowledge of corporation tax.

* Minimum of six years in a professional tax environment

* Membership of the Chartered Institute of Taxation is ideal but not essential as study support will be provided.

Key responsibilities include:

* Reporting to and liaising with Partners on tax advisory projects

* Responsibility for delivering corporation tax compliance services in an efficient high-quality manner. This will include assisting in tax provisioning work (deferred tax etc) where appropriate and interaction with HM Revenue and Customs on enquiry matters.

* Planning of tax compliance timetable and liaising closely with clients and audit teams where appropriate

* Working on due diligence and other transaction services projects

* Responsibility for training and monitoring trainees together with reviewing their work

* General administration, including working capital management.

* Strong interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm are a pre-requisite for this role.
