Corporate Tax Assistant Manager (2 days in the office)

up to £62,000 + Bonus

The Corporate Tax Department includes a Senior Manager, two Supervisors, and two trainees, overseen by two Partners. The department primarily serves owner-managed businesses, investment clients, and non-profits. While managing Corporation Tax compliance, the team also handles numerous advisory projects, including large transactions, EIS applications, share schemes, and more.

They are looking for an ACA or CTA qualified candidate to join the expanding Corporate Tax Department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Manage a client portfolio and proactively deliver tax compliance work.
* Review Corporate Tax computations and returns, addressing HMRC inquiries.
* Review deferred tax calculations, tax reconciliations, and disclosures for statutory accounts.
* Maintain a quarterly payments diary and send reminders.
* Handle internal and client queries regarding tax computations.
* Assist with tax advisory work, including EMI option documentation, EIS advance clearance letters, and due diligence.
* Support the training and development of junior staff.

The Candidate:

* Ideally ACA or CTA qualified with corporate tax experience.
* Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
* Preferably knowledgeable in Alphatax.
