Group Tax Manager - FTSE 250, Manchester

Our client is a constituent of the FTSE 250 and is searching for a Group Tax Manager to join the in-house tax team in Manchester. This tax job pays up to £70,000 plus a cash allowance and bonus.

This is a newly created opportunity as the business continues to expand and you will report directly to the Head of Tax. As the Group Tax Manager, some of your responsibilities include:

* Assisting with the preparation of year end reporting including the preparation of the tax disclosures.
* Assisting with the preparation of the tax disclosures for the UK Statutory Accounts.
* Partner and liaise with stakeholders across the business to identify issues on potential transactions and developing solutions.
* Maintain tax compliance.
* Some oversight on the Group's indirect tax matters.

To be considered, you should ideally be CTA or ACA qualified with a strong technical understanding of tax accounting and UK tax compliance.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary package of up to £70,000 plus a cash allowance and bonus. The team follow a hybrid working pattern of 2-3 days in the office.
