Our client, a successful & fast-growing US Tech group, is looking to appoint an Indirect Tax Manager to join its newly-formed global tax function. This is a very entrepreneurial, strategic & highly visible tax position.
Reporting directly to the Senior Tax Director, the International Indirect Tax Manager will be accountable for managing all indirect tax matters for the group, including optimizing indirect tax processes & systems globally, managing all indirect tax compliance activities (outsourced to an external provider), providing indirect tax advice on international indirect tax matters, mitigating any tax risks, providing support on tax audits, supporting on tax planning projects and building effective relationships with stakeholders globally.
This is an opportunity for an inquisitive, confident, self-starting, business oriented and highly entrepreneurial tax professional with a minimum of 6 years’ international VAT experience (ideally with some experience in Customs). The role will suit someone who is currently working as in-house VAT / Indirect Tax Manager. Excellent communication skills in English are essential. You will need to be the sort of person who can thrive in an ever-changing environment and who likes a dynamic & fast-paced business environment.
