Corporate Tax Director required by Birmingham Accountancy Firm

Your new company
Our client, a large Accountancy Practice in Birmingham, is looking for a Corporate Tax Director to help businesses in meeting their complex demands for UK tax reporting, compliance, planning and strategy.

Your new role
As the Corporate Tax Director you will build and maintain client relationships, proactively working to contribute to winning new clients. You will manage the delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, supporting clients through the challenges of planning, financial accounting, tax compliance and maintaining effective relationships with tax authorities. This role will be working with organisations and individuals to structure transactions and operations in a tax-effective manner, helping clients to mitigate tax risk and comply effectively with tax laws. You will develop, manage and mentor staff, contributing to people initiatives with operational responsibility for the team and its strategy.

What you'll need to succeed
ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA qualified with experience in corporate tax, tax accounting and or tax audit work and the ability to build and maintain client relationships along with excellent negotiation skills. My client is looking for a team player with experience of coaching and developing staff and sustain and lead effective teams.
