Tax Planning Consultant

Tax Consultant working with a top 50 firm across the North West

Your new company
Your new firm is a well known and established Top 50 firm of chartered accountants with offices based all across the North West. They are a full range of services including advisory, audit, corporate finance, outsourcing and taxation. Due to increased workload and growth with their tax division they are now looking to bring in a Tax Consultant to work in their advisory team. This a agile role so you will be able to work from a variety of different offices as well working from home.

Your new role
In your new role you will be focused solely on tax planning, working with a real range of different clients and various turnovers across the the North West. In this you will working on the following: company restructuring, employee share schemes, dividend planning, EIS/SEIS shares, M&A, year end tax planning, Non UK residents, and management buyouts. It will be part your role to build relationships with clients and manage key stakeholders advising on planning opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to come from a strong tax background, being ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified having a knowledge of tax planning projects. You need to be confident in a client facing role and be able to deal with HMRC queries. This firm would also consider professionals who are chartered accountants who want to move into specialise in tax.
