Indirect Tax Technology Consultant (SAP/ CRM) - Agilent, based in Barcelona

Join Agilent Global Tax Technology Team, which is passionate about providing technical ERP expertise as it relates to indirect tax processes across SAP modules. As part of the Tax Technology team, you will have exposure and outstanding learning opportunity to both Q2C and P2P processes as all transactions have a tax consequence.

In this role, you will primarily:

● You will responsible for delivering (and often leading) SAP tax optimisation projects as the SAP tax SME
● Work with key business partners to understand requirements, develop gap analysis, and produce functional solutions and associated tax technical configuration in SAP ECC (SD, FI, MM) and CRM
● Work cross-functionally and partner with IT teams for development, testing, and deployment of fixes and new solutions
● Promote innovative design, process improvements, and digitalization ideas for Tax processes
● Support the current environment and help develop future solutions.

Qualifications

● Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent
● Involvement on SAP ECC/CRM implementations
● Experience with SAP, both transactional processes and core tax components
● SAP project experience must include design, not just tax requirements capturing
● Strong Solution Engineering Skills - Ability to define sophisticated business problems, convert into solutions, and fit into the overall system architecture
● Exposure to SAP ECC: SD, MM, FICO, and/or CRM.
● Financial management application solution design, development
● Proven experience in financial process engineering and improvement initiatives
● Analytical and problem-solving attitude
● Must be system-oriented - have an interest/aptitude for developing skills in new applications
● Ability to communicate effectively across various levels - geographies
● Confirmed project management and excellent communication skills
● SAP Certification a plus
