SAP VAT Consultant - FTSE 250 group - Fully remote

Working with a global Food/retail business that is FTSE 250 listed. The ideal candidate will be currently working at manager level who can be bring on board their experience, with relevant technology and exposure to EU VAT jurisdictions experience.

Global IT projects:

1 SAP4Hana (finance, inventory, and cash) and
2 Simphony Oracle DigiPOS implementation

We are looking for a resource who will have some experience of:

* Experience of working with SAP ERP system and comfortable with testing / UAT work.
* Financial and / or VAT reporting compliance, ensuring VAT codes set up for VAT returns
* Work with business and project teams in implementation of global IT projects
* Can analyse / review data, process map and support/ advise / train local finance teams, to ensure deliverable is as per the global design for indirect tax purposes.
* Reconciliation of GL accounts
* Preferably with retail sector experience and European VAT returns / reporting.
* Knowledge and Use of Tax Reporting tools would be desirable.
