Senior Tax Accountant 12-18 months - MNC - FULLY REMOTE

A fully remote working Senior Tax Accountant job requires an Assistant Tax Manager or Tax Manager level tax professional for this interim tax job.

Joining a small tax team who focus on a business unit as part of a large international MNC, this role interacts closely with fellow tax team members, the finance team for the business unit and the Group tax function.

Joining in November 2022 and for a 12 to 18 months duration (taking you through to the end of 2023 or into 2024), this international tax role will include the following duties:

* Review the UK CT returns prepared by a team member, and prepare UK CIR returns.
* Oversee the CT filings for overseas jurisdictions, liaising with relevant advisors.
* Prepare tax disclosures for financial statements.
* Oversee the VAT return preparation process.
* SAO requirements.
* Assist in PAYE compliance queries.
* Assist on transfer pricing requirements as appropriate.

Although this is a corporate tax focused role, there is the opportunity for a keen tax professional to be trained up and to take on board VAT, PAYE and transfer pricing requirements.

To be considered for this role, you will have a UK corporate tax compliance background with tax accounting experience. It is an advantage, but is not essential, to have VAT experience, but as a minimum, having an interest in looking at VAT compliance is beneficial.

In this role you will feel well supported by team colleagues, and will also have the large advantage of being able to do additional tax training in VAT, PAYE and transfer pricing, provided by advisors and bespoked for this role.
