I am delighted to support one of the leading independent accountancy practices in Yorkshire. This practice prides itself on providing a wide range of accountancy, tax and business services to a varied client base throughout the North of England. Their main focus is to provide outstanding client service within a friendly environment. Due to their continuous growth, they are now looking to employ a Tax Semi Senior that is either studying towards or has recently completed their ATT to join this award-winning team at Semi Senior level.


Your new role

Joining as a semi senior tax professional, you will be joining a very well-established team consisting of lots of managerial support. You will be working closely with Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners.
Your main responsibilities will include preparation of accounts for a mixed and varied client base.
Duties will mainly include working with clients and more senior members of the team on the corporation tax compliance aspects of the portfolio, including preparation of corporate tax returns and computations, advising on payment dates and dealing with all other administrative matters. There will also be the opportunity to assist in advisory projects.

What you'll need to succeed

You may be ATT qualified, ACA or ACCA studying /finalist or newly qualified, with a background in the accountancy practice sector, preparing accounts, tax and other services, for varied clients from start to finish.
You will be looking for a firm and role that offers the scope to progress in responsibility and client contact, within a highly successful firm of accountants.
You should be hard working, self motivated, be able to display a flexible, professional approach and have the confidence and ability to communicate effectively with partners and clients. You should be a natural team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and an excellent eye for detail.
