What You'll do (the role)

Summary

The Transfer Pricing Manager will be responsible for international tax compliance of the Group including transfer pricing.

Duties and Responsiblities

Transfer pricing

· Work with the Finance team and the wider business to maintain and improve an arm's length operating model for the group, including both commercial operations and financing transactions

· Work closely with the Finance and business teams to ensure transfer prices are effectively embedded in the group's accounting system to enable inter-company charging of all appropriate fees

· Provide general transfer pricing advice and support including advice on application of transfer pricing laws and practice on all of intercompany transactions in current and new markets

· Functional and transfer pricing analysis of new inter-company transactions

· Support the new market entry process in the adoption of group transfer pricing methodologies

· Manage contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation including the group's master file and local transfer pricing documentation for all major intercompany transactional streams

· Implementation of the in-housing of the transfer pricing documentation process

· Monitoring OECD and local country developments for new transfer compliance requirements and the implementation of these

· Assistance with tax authority transfer pricing enquiries and audit defence, both in the UK and overseas

Additional Areas

· Support the business in adhering to changes in global tax legislation in a timely manner and changes are communicated to relevant internal departments

· Identification of any potential anti avoidance reporting requirements for LSbp eg DAC 6, CFC, DPT and support the tax compliance for these

· Support the management of the exposure risk of permanent establishments created by the business

Who we're looking for

KNOWLEDGE AND Experience

· Qualified tax professional with 6 years + post qualified experience

· Preferably in-house MNC experience of implementing and maintaining transfer pricing policies and documentation

· Technically up to date with a good understanding of international taxation legislation and standards with respect to transfer pricing

· Strong UK GAAP and IFRS tax accounting knowledge beneficial

· International experience / exposure essential

· Wider corporate international tax experience and knowledge of issues such as corporate interest restriction, CFC, DAC 6 beneficial

· Ability to initiate and lead a project through to a successful completion engaging stakeholders throughout the process

· The ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Able to meet tight timeframes and drive continuous improvements
