Your new firm
Your new firm is one of the North West's largest independent accountancy practices with five offices across the North West and employing around 150 members of staff. This firm specialises in accounts, audit, payroll and business advisory services and has its own dedicated tax department.

Your new role
Your new role as a personal tax assistant will involve working with a portfolio of personal tax clients made up predominantly of the partners and directors of owner managed businesses. You will be accountable for the full compliance cycle, self-assessment tax returns, and ad-hoc advisory work associated as you develop. You will report to the Personal Tax Senior and be a point of contact between your client and HMRC.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this post you will have recent experience of preparing personal tax returns within practice and be able to work relatively autonomously. those who are studying towards ATT or CTA would be looked upon favourably.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of up to £25,000 dependent on experience and 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays. In addition, for candidates interested and seeking flexible working hours, home working, part time and flexi hours can be offered as can study support. Holiday increase upon qualification to 25 days.
