Tax Manager - Post Deals Tax

Your new company
Corporate Tax Manager required by Big 4 Firm in Birmingham, East Midlands or Milton Keynes to work as part of their Midlands Tax Team. Concentrating on clients who are predominantly "post transaction", this Division is key to the Firm's growth plans and are therefore challenging themselves in finding new ways to exceed expectations. The team work closely with their London office which gives them the opportunity to work with high profile clients whilst being Midlands based. They work with a wide range of clients including large Midlands companies, high profile international clients, private equity, Government and high net worth individuals, giving their staff an enviable depth of variety and experience.

Your new role
It's to be based in one of their fastest growing teams that predominantly deal with clients post transaction. This involves picking up the relationship moving forward and project managing various teams. You will be responsible for managing your client relationships ensuring that client communication is pitched at the right level and delivered by appropriate team members in a timely manner. You will have responsibility for identifying key opportunities and risks for clients and reviewing complex tax returns and other tax calculations. You will also be responsible for ensuring risk is managed effectively on your clients. You will also have responsibility for coordinating the provision of services by overseas teams. Together with senior colleagues you will work on consulting projects. This will include producing high quality technical writing for both clients and external marketing that requires little revision supported with technical research using appropriate tools. You will be expected to deepen and drive the technical understanding of a particular area of taxation and build your reputation as a subject matter specialist.

What you'll need to succeed
As the Tax Manager you will be ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified with experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships, strong analytical skills, ability to solve complex problems and project management
