R&D Tax Manager - Software Specialist required for a leading Accountancy and Advisory Firm to work with a large range of clients across the UK. Working directly with clients to help them unlock their potential for growth and support this Firm's solid reputation within their local and regional markets for the excellence of their client work.

Your new role
Based in either Milton Keynes or Birmingham, as the R&D Tax Manager you will be joining a team that consists of Scientists, Software Developers, Engineers and Accountants with a core understanding of R&D, who support their diverse range of clients in making the most of the governments' R&D tax relief and credits. Delivering R&D tax projects, analysing and interpreting data, identifying business issues, and applying technical knowledge. Working closely with the R&D tax and wider tax teams to ensure correct skill utilisation on all projects.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful R&D Tax Manager will have a background in software development, software implementation, software engineering or equivalent. Experience of managing internal or external stakeholders and working within project timeframes. The R&D Tax Manager will have a strong analytical and numerical approach to problem solving with a strong understanding of technology and the development life cycle of processes and products.
