A Big 4 firm is looking for a Tax Policy Assistant Manager to join one of their nationwide offices.
This role will consist of tracking the changes in tax law, researching the change and writing summary notes or articles about it. This is a direct taxes role which will let you experience a broad range of taxes such as profits, reliefs, and incentives. You will also be responsible for working with client facing teams, assisting them with tax technical issues or dealing with the client yourself. Another responsibility is drafting replies to consultations done by HMRC by analysing policy proposals and summarising the results of tax cases for the practice.
To apply, you must be qualified (CTA and / or ACA) and have experience in corporate tax. You must also have an interest in tax legislation and case law. You don't have to have tax policy experience as training will be provided where required. Our client is also willing to shape the role to the candidate due to the scope and range of work within the team.
