Compliance Manager Indirect Tax

Your new company
A global firm specialising in consultancy, assurance, tax, and law is currently seeking an Indirect Tax Compliance Manager to join their Midlands team on either a full or part-time basis. The firm is focused on using years of experience and newly developed technology in supporting clients in managing their compliance obligations while identifying a variety of opportunities and limiting any possible risks.

Your new role
Within your new role, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a fast-growing team while working with offices based around the world. This is a compliance advisory role involving responding to proposals - both written and oral, co-ordinating with colleagues in the global delivery team and helping to co-ordinate with overseas offices. You will need to have good communication and written skills and an awareness of filings overseas/Real Time Reporting Compliance is such a fast-changing world and the role is very interesting from a technology point of view, with exposure to automated systems such as SAP, Oracle and HMRC systems and how they're used to identify opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have experience in a VAT compliance role and a good understanding of EU VAT. You will need to enjoy working with others and supporting employees enabling them to thrive and develop. You should ideally be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or hold the Tax Inspectors with full technical training course and have the basic understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems.
