Corporate Tax Semi Senior, London

This Top 50 accountancy firm are known as a specialist when working with SME and OMB clients on both a UK and international basis. As a leading practice in London they provide a broad range of services as one would expect with accounting, audit and tax departments. Their tax department is split into specialist teams including personal tax, corporate tax and trusts.

As a Corporate Tax Semi Senior you will essentially join a large corporate tax team, manage a compliance portfolio of varying complexity with the support from your Managers and complete your qualifications. For those moving from larger firms, you can expect more responsibility than you will have had with the opportunity to get involved in planning such as R&D tax relief, group tax planning, venture capital reliefs, share schemes and valuations and gift aid relief. You will also work to complete EMI and EIS / sEIS documentation within the position.

For this role you will either be working as a Corporate Tax Assistant / Semi Senior or Business Tax Assistant / Semi Senior within an accountancy firm. We will also accept applications from those from general practice backgrounds with good tax experience. In terms of qualifications, we will look at those who have taken the ATT / ACCA or ACA route. If you are part way through, this role will consider providing a training contract.
