European Tax Manager for Global Investment Fund

We are currently working with a leading international alternative asset management group looking to add a Group Tax Specialist to their high-quality businesses based in London in a broad and varied position.

Responsibilities:

* Be responsible for tax compliance and reporting for the company and its group. This is outsourced to the advisors so in more of an oversight and coordination capacity.
* Continuously improve processes to ensure effective and compliant tax management and accounting.
* Support Head of Tax and other team members on any other tax project work that arises.
* Understand and manage overseas offices' tax charges including timely reporting and payment of overseas taxes.
* As this is a small team, there is certainly scope to get involved with broader advisory and transaction focused work.

Experience required:

* Degree educated or equivalent professional qualification
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with minimum 2-year PQE
* Experience with complex organisational structures and consolidations
* Ability to analyse financial records and identify tax sensitive transactions
* Experience working with international organisations in a multi-currency environment
* High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
