What you'll do
In this role, you'll provide tax advice to franchises and services and support functions across Group. Within the course of your work, you'll:
* Provide tax advice on a range of transactions including: M&A, restructuring, Treasury and Front Office
* Provide transfer pricing advice to colleagues across the Group
* Participate in control and governance forums including Arm's Length (Rule 12) Management Forums
* Collect and manage the information required to support the new UK local file transfer pricing documentation requirements
* Work with overseas advisors and tax teams supporting local corporate tax compliance and projects
* Facilitate the efficient int eraction with key external parties including audit teams, HMRC and external advisers
* Support Group Tax risk reporting and control activities
* Manage day-to-day activities within risk appetite
* You will benefit from excellent exposure to and day-to-day management of high-profile advisory tax work
* You'll be exposed to an environment of significant change as the bank restructures to meet the demands of the future
The skills you'll need
To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced tax professional with relevant experience in general corporate tax advisory matters including international tax and/or transfer pricing.
You'll also bring:
