VAT Assistant Manager/ Manager, Mid-tier firm, Yorkshire

Now is a great time to join this mid-tier firm during at a pivotal growth time for them. This company is looking for a new addition to its VAT team to help develop business, where you’ll collaborate with colleagues nationally, but with a specific focus on VAT services in the North of England.

You will assist with raising the profile of their VAT services, helping maintain and develop the firm’s reputation for quality, effective VAT advice.

Essential Requirements:

● You will ideally have a couple of years’ UK VAT consultancy experience, although more junior candidates can be considered.
● Be able to assist with some day-to-day compliance work, although advisory is the main focus.
● Enthusiasm for working on a generalist client portfolio, including those in the construction, international goods, SMEs, real estate sectors amongst others
● The ability to network both regionally and within a larger national team.
● A willingness to support team members with research and review work.

There is a flexible working policy to facilitate individual different professional/personal needs. The firm is open to discuss which arrangements would work best.
