Tax Projects and Reporting Manager - Communication

An exciting opportunity to join a multinational communication business based in London as a Tax Manager.

Reporting to the Group Tax Director, you will assist with all aspects of the reporting requirements for the group and work on international tax projects.

Role responsibilities

Reporting:

* Assisting with the production of the year-end and interim group consolidated tax charge and tax disclosure notes under IFRS, liaising effectively with our auditors throughout
* Providing necessary training to finance colleagues internationally on tax reporting requirements and providing quality control of tax reporting packs
* Preparing deferred tax assets/liabilities schedules
* Supporting overseas business units with tax accounting issues
* Working with the team to ensure sufficient Sarbanes-Oxley documentation is in place, particularly regarding compliance and controls in the tax area

Projects:

* Working with members of the team on international tax issues/reforms including assisting with the evaluation of the impact of BEPS 2.0 for the group
* Assisting with internal valuations used for intra-group reorganisations
* Internal international tax reorganisations to facilitate business initiatives including mergers, joint ventures, hive-downs or disposals
* Evaluating the tax impact of cross-border client and supplier relationships

What you'll need:

* Experience of reporting numbers under IFRS
* A good working knowledge of international tax principles
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Experience of tax reporting and accounting within a multi-jurisdictional framework
* Strong awareness of changes within the tax reporting environment, and of Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
