Based in Glasgow city centre, this international organisation have an opportunity for an indirect tax specialist to join them on a permanent basis. The organisation have lots of exciting projects on the ho and are sustainability is at the heart of what they do. They are looking for a talented professional to join them on a permanent basis.

Your new role

Your skills will help to support the UK corporate tax obligations across the organisation working as part of the tax team ensuring compliance and reporting deadlines are met, providing advisory support and helping with any other challenges that may arise. Working in a small and supportive team you will be comfortable supporting ad hoc advice to the UK businesses as needed and confident in supporting key stakeholders in those businesses Experience in tax reporting including deferred tax calculations would be an advantage though coaching will be provided if required. There will also be opportunities to be involved with other taxes such as income taxes and short-term visitors. The role is particularly suitable as a first move into the industry.

What you'll need to succeed

Corporate tax experience and a relevant tax / accountancy qualification (or close to) are required, along with good stakeholder management skills, flexibility and a real passion for getting under the skin of a business. You should have a good level of project management ability and a self-starter will do well in this role.
