Tax Analyst, Tax Reporting & Compliance, e-commerce, Munich

Job Summary

My Client is seeking a Tax Analyst to focus on Tax Compliance & Reporting for my client's legal entities in the Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH Region). You will support on local tax reporting (direct tax returns & tax accounting) and international aspects of the companies income tax provision

Key Responsibilities

* Corporate income tax return compliance aspects for Germany, Austria, Switzerland
* Support quarterly income tax accounting and reporting under Local German GAAP (HGB) and US GAAP
* Support German and international tax controversy teams on tax audits
* Drive process improvements and coordinate with the company's Tax Technology Team to facilitate streamlining and automation of tax calculations
* Help to implement new reporting tools and frameworks as a result of changing international tax landscape and new requirements
* Participate in special projects, as necessary

Basic Qualification

* Bachelor's degree in tax, accounting, finance, or related field
* Minimum 5 years experience working in tax
* Proficiency English and German language

Preferred Qualification

* Experienced in tax reporting and tax compliance matters
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand processes and systems
* Strong IT Skills, especially MS Office Products
* Experienced in working with tax reporting software (e.g. DefTax, DATEV)
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and manage shifting priorities
