Group Tax Manager job requires a Head of Tax or Group Tax Manager in order to take control across all taxes for this company.
Joining an FMCG business in their small internal tax team, this interim job is to start in either December 2021 or January 2022 and is for a 4-6 months duration. The business has 2 key offices, one in Manchester and another in Central London, and in this position it can be worked 2 days per week from either office, with the remainder of the time worked from home.
Although the CT compliance is outsourced to an accounting firm, this position involves managing that process and liaising with relevant internal (finance) and external (accounting firm) stakeholders. Likewise for VAT and tax reporting requirements.
Being an international business, there are international tax advisory duties on cross border restructuring and business activities; and a large project being undertaken is a transfer pricing review which will also be a focus in this role.
To be considered for this role it is imperative to have held a senior tax position previously in order to have the experience of managing all taxes and reporting to senior stakeholders on tax issues.
