Senior Tax Manager EMEA (Leiden)

This is a large and successful multinational company with a long history of innovation as well as growth by acquisition.

Reporting to the VP Tax Europe, the Senior Tax Manager that will take responsibility for a range of international tax projects that will include M&A integration and tax planning projects; tax accounting & reporting; helping local finance teams with tax compliance issues; managing tax audits; and transfer pricing. The role can be based in Leiden.

The company has grown a lot by acquisition with complex supply chains so they need someone who can create new ways of working and be adaptable.

It is expected that the successful candidate will have at least 7 years of tax experience from working in a Big 4 firm and/or industry. There is a clear path for your career development to Director and a friendly and supportive working environment in one of the world’s most ethical companies.

The VP Tax Europe needs someone who can pick up and run projects and assist local finance organisations. An important part of the role is to manage M&A integration projects execution, looking at IP and risks. Also important is an awareness of tax accounting and how the financial statement affects the tax reporting (US GAAP).
