Part time tax role with retail business - based South London

Outstanding, newly created part time stand alone tax role working for a global retail business.

Your new role

Key Activities:

* Manage all aspects of the in-house UK tax compliance process
* Responsible for Group Tax reporting at interim and year-end
* Prepare and manage the Group's ETR and cash tax forecasts
* Provide tax support to the business across all taxes
* Deliver tax advisory projects

What you'll need to succeed

GIVEN THE NATURE OF THE BUSINESS SOMEONE WHO HAS A REAL AND KEEN INTEREST IN SPORT OR SOMEONE WHO IS A CURRENT AND ACTIVE SPORTSPERSON WOULD BE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER.

* Good IT literacy skills
* Qualified accountant (ACA) or Charted Tax Adviser (CTA)
* Strong project management skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong understanding of tax accounting for a UK listed Group
* Good UK tax technical knowledge
* Confident and able to promote the tax function internally across business units and also externally by maintaining good working relationships with external advisors
* Self motivated with ability to work autonomously
* Ability to work to both internal and external deadlines
* Good problem solving skills
