Group Tax Manager - tax process improvement project - 6 months (£100k pa pro rated)

Stand alone tax job, Group Tax Manager job, requires a corporate tax specialist or Group Tax Manager for this interim in-house tax job.

Joining an international business, to their UK and Ireland division, this role reports to the Finance Director and will take ownership of the tax affairs for the business.

Primarily, the focus of the role is to update, improve and streamline the processes and systems of the compliance process, in order to longer term hand over the function to a permanent tax hire.

To achieve the changes required, the role will involve delving into the detail of the process, and being very hands on in the systems and liaising heavily with the finance team.

As this role is project based, it will utilise the experience of the successful tax professional, and therefore it is essential to have corporate tax compliance and reporting experience to a senior level, and to have worked on process and system improvement previously. It is also an advantage to have VAT and employment tax experience.

Being very comfortable using Excel is essential to be effective in the role.
