Head of Tax (reports to CFO), London, to £130k + bens

Outstanding newly created Head of Tax role for a sustainability client. Based in the City. Reports into CFO


Your new role

I'm working on an outstanding, newly created, opportunity for a Head of Tax. The business I'm working with sits within the sustainability sector and has gone through a recent round of investment. There is now the need to build out its group finance function and as part of that growth and hiring strategy the CFO has focused on a number of key hires including this Head of Tax role.

The business is UK HQ'ed although it is multi jurisdictional; they currently have operations in the UK, Spain, NL & France but have further operations about to open in Malaysia, Korea and the US.

Key requirements for this role include:

* Strong international tax experience;
* Extensive experience of working in a PE / Leveraged / Structure Finance environment;
* Significant debt experience;
* Experience of working for a business that has gone through an IPO;
* Licensing model experience;
* Outstanding stakeholder engagement.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a high growth, fast paced organisation. The role requires someone who has operated at a senior level, who understands the touch points of working in a deal led business but who can also develop the overarching tax strategy for the group.
