Senior VAT Adviser, Law Firm, to £100k + bonus

We have a new to market opportunity for an experienced, qualified VAT practitioner who is currently either working in a large accountancy firm or in a law firm.

Our client is an international law firm with a dedicated VAT team that deals with complex VAT projects both in the UK and internationally for some of the world's largest organisations. Within this team, you will work alongside some of the industry's most recognised VAT specialists who are technically at the top of their game; your career will benefit as you will be exposed to technically challenging projects but be supported by a pre-eminent team.

The successful candidate will work on standalone projects but the bulk of client projects will require you to work with colleagues across the business and around the globe. The work will involve advisory and transactional work across a number of sectors; specific sector experience is not a pre-requisite .

To apply, you need to be a VAT practitioner with excellent VAT technical skills, be ACA / CTA and have at least six years PQE. Ideally you will have worked in a large professional services VAT team and managed more junior staff. Candidates who have worked in senior client facing roles and have experience of building and growing client relationships will be of particular interest.

This is one of the most interesting senior VAT roles in the market at present and is blend of Big 4 and Big law work. it will suit a VAT specialist who is keen to take their VAT career to the most senior level and enjoys working on large, technically challenging transactions.
