Tax Advisor, Surrey, to £70k + bonus

This globally renowned business has an opportunity for a Tax Advisor to join its global tax team, providing tax advice and ongoing support to projects, primarily in Europe and Africa.

Reporting into a Regional Tax Director, the successful candidate will have a background in international tax, strong communication skills and be keen to take the next step in their career focusing on a purely advisory focused role.

Responsibilities are, not not limited to:

* Provide clear, practical and business focused advice on the tax implications of projects and tenders.
* Manage overseas tax enquiries and tax audits, and ensure that all dealings with tax authorities are conducted in an open and professional manner.
* Design and implement tax processes to ensure compliance obligations are met, tax risks identified and addressed, and appropriate records are maintained.
* Coordinate with legal and finance teams on specific projects, including financing, cash repatriation, acquisitions and disposals.
* Review local tax returns prior to submission, providing technical input.
* Act as a cost-effective liaison with external advisers on advisory matters.
