Interim Senior Tax Manager - M&A and Transactions

Operating in the real estate development and investment sector our client has experienced exponential growth over the past 3 years and now operates in over 12 European countries. You will be working in the tax team covering a maternity contract, focused on pure advisory and transactions based work. An exciting opportunity to work with a talented leadership team in such a high growth business.

* Tax due diligence and tax structuring of real estate and corporate transactions, and real estate fund structuring. Predominantly across UK and Europe
* Tax planning, strategy and risk management for a number of European operations
* Scope covers all taxes (including transfer taxes, profits taxes, WHT, VAT, construction taxes, and by exception employment and taxes and local property taxes)
* Proactively communicate tax risks and recommend tax strategies and solutions to Group Head of Tax
* Provide ongoing tax advice and support to Finance, Legal and local deal teams
* Ensure contract management and cash management / repatriation is effected tax-efficiently
* Manage and direct external tax resources in an efficient manner
* Oversee global transfer pricing policies
* Working with advisers to prepare detailed tax structure memos

* You will be ACA and/or CTA Qualified with a minimum of 5 years experience in Corporate Tax.
* You will have sufficient experience in advising on tax structures within transactions
* Ideally experience over UK and Europe transactions
* Real Estate or Property Development experience is ideal however open to other relevant transactions and M&A Tax experience in other sectors.
