Pure Search are partnering with a NASDAQ listed digital assets financial services company in their search for a Group Head of Tax who will be responsible for providing strong operational and compliance tax advice on regular business and commercial & strategic projects as the group expands it product and geographical footprint.

This position will be based in the City of London and will be paying a very competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following responsibiities:

Responsibilities:

* Advice on the tax impact of new product launches which generally involve the participation of multiple jurisdications. This focus would cover both direct and indirect taxes Lead tax projects which include, for example, cross border issues, double taxation treaties, transfer pricing and associated benchmarking,
* Tax modelling to ensure the most optimal structures are in place.
* Ensuring policies and procedures are kept up to date to include the global tax guidance for digital assets
* Play a key role in the production of financial statements, from a tax reporting and disclosure perspective
* Ensuring the group is tax compliant across multiple jurisdictions

Required experience:

* Degree holder in Banking/Finance/Accounting/Business disciplines with at least 10+ years tax background
* Prior experience in a multinational group ideally with a knowledge of HK, SG and UK tax (at least 2 out of the three)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to interact with senior stakeholders or across divisions.
* Excellent analytical skills
* An ability to produce meaningful management information
* Strong communication skills, and in particular an ability to explain technical terms to a non-technical audience
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Proactive self-starter, comfortable with working autonomously when necessary and willing to assume extended responsibility.
