Head of Tax, Renewables Business, to £90k

One of the UK's fastest growing renewables business is looking for a first time Head of Tax, to build the tax function beneath them and take ownership across all taxes. This is a hugely exciting opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager, or Senior Manager to take the next step in their career and wanting to gain experience of reporting into finance.

The role will cover all UK taxes, both direct and indirect along with transfer pricing and managing external advisors. With huge investment across finance and tax, this person will be supported by the current finance team and will review work whilst creating new processes and creating efficiency.

Day to day you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

* Ownership of tax matters including indirect taxes in the UK.
* Ownership of transfer pricing arrangements, overseas permanent establishment assessments and tax compliance of international businesses.
* Ownership of annual tax computations and year-end tax reporting within statutory accounts
* Support with HMRC enquiries and audits
* Responsible for any ad-hoc commercial projects including international expansion and M&A.

Requirements:

* Qualified tax professional
* Strong experience of UK corporation tax and understanding of VAT issues.
* Ideally knowledge and exposure of international tax and commercial understanding.
