A Global, Luxury Brand Organisation Headquartered in London is looking to recruit a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team.

This role will suit someone with at least 4-5 year's experience in a tax role who wishes to develop their technical and commercial skills as a tax specialist in a global, luxury brand organisation. We will train and support the successful candidate to be proficient in the role and therefore, a positive attitude, commitment, and good learning agility is essential.

Support will be provided for any further exams leading to qualification and the successful individual will be supported through a tax qualification.

Role descriptions

The successful candidate (referred to below as the STA) will assist with all aspects of UK corporation tax compliance, statutory reporting and tax provisions for review by the Senior Tax Manager, and assist with dealing with UK corporation tax and employment taxes queries from HMRC.

The STA will be the first point of contact for queries both internally from the UK financial controllers and externally from auditors. STA will also assist with consolidating group tax calculations and preparing effective tax rate calculations, using information provided by the regional financial controllers. Strong excel skills would be essential.

In addition, the role will involve any other UK corporate tax requirements which may arise, e.g. CFC, corporate interest restriction, R&D claims. The STA should be capable of undertaking research independently, articulating findings and proposing resolutions, and be comfortable with using tax legislation for any UK tax technical research.

The STA will be responsible for calculating the group transfer pricing recharges accurately, and dealing with any queries arising both internally and externally from auditors. The STA will support the Senior Tax Manager with any CBCR related reporting and documentation requirements both in the UK and globally.

Furthermore, the STA will be supporting the Senior Tax Manager in dealing with PAYE queries and audits, be responsible for calculating the annual PAYE Settlement Agreement, and other ad hoc advice in relation to international mobility, expenses and benefits.

* CA, ACA qualified
* Strong UK tax accounting knowledge

* Financial systems use JD Edwards
* Excellent Excel skills
