Senior VAT Manager, 6 month FTC, Remote Working

A Senior VAT Manager role has arisen in a rapidly growing multinational as a result of sustained organic growth and growing complexity of the business. This will be the first senior VAT hire and will initially be a 6 month contract although there is also the possibility of it becoming permanent. You will lead VAT across the European region which will include the following:

* Analyse existing systems and process to identify any areas of risk and resolve any outstanding issues
* Design and implement robust processes and document these to ensure compliance across all territories going forward
* Training AP teams and educating the business on how processes impact tax and legislative changes that impact the business
* Review of VAT returns and overseeing work of junior members of the team

This is a challenging project and will require an experienced VAT Manager or Senior Manager who can drive projects forward, seek solutions and who is comfortable with systems and process improvement work.
