The team is an established team with a strong reputation in the region; clients are from a broad range of sectors and include multinational organisations and smaller, privately owned SMEs and OMBs.
Part of the role will include providing assistance to Partners and keeping them informed on client work and management of the team. Moreover the successful candidate will work on special assignments and be expected to identify and capitalise on business opportunities on existing and new clients.
Other responsibilities include (but this is not an exhaustive list):
Developing a network of contacts internally and externally, cross selling and winning your own work.
Review of compliance and delivery of advisory projects for final advice to clients.
Acting as a pivotal team member in the delivery of tax services with regular involvement with tax planning projects and working on complex tax issues with the Partners.
Coaching and developing junior staff and the wider tax team.
To be considered, you must currently be in a Senior Manager or Director level role in corporate tax and have experience of running complex corporate tax compliance and advisory projects. People currently in house will be considered but will need to have some relatively recent professional services experience.
In addition, you will need to be ACA and / or CTA qualified and have experience of developing a client portfolio and more junior team members.
This is one of the few Director level roles that will offer direct entry to Director level. If it seems of interest or if you would like a confidential conversation around your tax career, please contact Sally McIntyre-Brown on 0207 332 2452 or on sallymcintyrebrown@brewermorris.com
