M&A Associate Tax Director - flexible working

Senior Tax Manager level job based in central London (although the role offers flexible working), requires a Tax Lawyer or International Tax Manager who has M&A and transactions tax experience, to provide tax advice on business transactions and M&A activity.

Working with corporate, private equity, restructuring and fund/management structuring specialists, this team is uniquely positioned to experience a wide range of transactions. Importantly this means that they are naturally hedged against market turbulence as their focus can easily shift between areas as the economic cycle develops.

This team works with clients of all sizes in all industries from acquisitions of small family-owned concerns to high-profile, newsworthy deals.

The role of the Senior Manager in this Big 4 team will hold the following responsibilities:

* Client relationships - build and maintain and proactively win new clients.
* Tax technical work - deliver on complex and demanding consulting projects.
* Networking - internally to manage leads from other areas of the Practice; externally for client development.
* Team management - get involved in strategy and operations; mentor and coach staff.

To be considered for this role and team, you need to be qualified in either of ACA, CA, CTA, Tax Inspectors or Law qualification with experience from large practice, in-house or a law firm in M&A tax and private equity/funds. It is crucial to have an international tax exposure.
