International Tax Director, Geneva

This is an opportunity to join the Group Tax department of a complex organisation operating several business divisions with a presence in over 150 countries worldwide.

Reporting to the Head of Tax, the role of the International Tax Director is to ensure tax compliance in Europe, North America and South America as well as tax risk management and effective tax support to all business divisions and senior management.

It is a broad role covering including the designing of business models managing tax audits, and group restructuring projects, acquisitions and divestitures. There is interaction with a diverse pool of people in an international environment comprising both local operational colleagues in a wide range of countries and global headquarter staff.

To be successful in the role it is expected that the right candidate will have 12+ years’ experience in in international tax, and a good understanding of local cultures and tax environments in several of the jurisdictions under management. Strong VCT / TESCM skills are required.
